anti-climactic

The visit home was much like a ritual killing, or a cult meeting. Something that just happened. With no rhyme or reason.

But my pessimism aside, I really did have a good time. Anne went with me and we played a lot of guitar, saw a lot of movies, and I caught up with my sis. I've missed her. We don't keep in touch as much as I'd like. Something that must change. With the holidays come and gone, and waiting to resume the flury of normal life, I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it. School starts again in a week, and I'm not quite sure I'm ready for the MASSIVE course load I've heaped upon myself.

On a random note, pray for the soldiers in Iraq. There's three people who're very close to me that are over there right now. Doing what none of the rest of us want to. No matter how you feel about the situation there, you can at least send out some good thoughts and prayers for those stuck in that situation. It's not easy putting your life on hold for a year and half to go do something you don't want to. Here's hoping you come home safe buddies!

Nate came over last night while Anne and me were just loafing around, feeling a bit under the weather, and brought 'Anchorman'. Despite myself I laughed all the way through at the retarded guy humor. Good movie, even if you do feel dummer after watching it...

Alright folks, I gotta get back to work... doing, something... love and kisses to all!!

When your family gets together it feels like a ritual killing? That's something I can relate to.
